Astroknaughts

Formed in the summer of 2004 with the realization that all members were true Hammer-Rockers at heart, they have come along way from their meager beginnings in a cramped, stinking, diseased filled practice room to playing shows out in Canada's other fine H-town, Halifax. Special thanks of course to several people, Steve Kelly, Eleanor King, B.A. Johnston and Hans Eckart for their assistance with travel, accommodation and shows on that one. They took part in such prehistoric rituals as boulder bowling in order to properly get into the mind frame of Earth-bound human species and took these experiences with them to one of Hamilton's finest studio's, Catherine North Studio to record their very first EP... Cosmic Relief. Currently in the works, this EP is designed for the earthling curious about cosmic rock. Not to be confused with meteors and asteroids, Astroknaughts' music strives to be interesting without taking away from your head bobbing or beer drinking.

Their shows have included some great parties with bands like The Rest, The Maynards, Sailboats are White, Museum Pieces, Electroluminescent, The Building Press and of course our friend B.A. T-shirt designs by Leroy Fisher-Dobbler are currently being pressed again as the first batch was a stunning success. Album artwork will also be influenced by his magical hand.
